Financial literacy workshops for schools in Mumbai.
Mumbai is the city we run the most sessions in, and the one where the material needed the least adjusting. Students here are surrounded by visible money and visible inequality on the same street, often on the same walk to school — which means the conversation about wanting things, and about what other people have, starts with almost no setup from us.
Areas we reach
- South Mumbai
- Dadar & Matunga
- Bandra & Khar
- Andheri & Vile Parle
- Powai & Chandivali
- Chembur & Ghatkopar
- Goregaon to Borivali
- Mira Road & Bhayandar
Travel and scheduling
Sessions across the city fit a normal school morning — we plan around the local train timetable rather than the road, so an 8am assembly slot is entirely workable even from the far suburbs. Two sections on the same morning is the most efficient booking, and the second session always runs better than the first.
The board mix does not change the session
We work with SSC, CBSE, ICSE and IB schools in the city, sometimes in the same week. The behavioral content is board-agnostic — nothing in it depends on a syllabus — so the only real difference is the vocabulary students already have for the mechanical side.
Peer pressure is unusually legible here
In a city where brands and status are this visible, students recognise the FOMO patterns faster than anywhere else we teach. It makes the second session — the one that names the patterns — land quickly, and it makes the room honest sooner.
Fee-range makes no difference to the content
We have run the same session in high-fee South Mumbai schools and in aided schools in the eastern suburbs. The amounts students argue about change; the emotions behind the arguments do not.
Everything we publish is free for Mumbai schools to use, whether or not you ever work with us — including the classroom activities.
